William Bazeyo is a Leader in the Health Care Industry
Dr. Bazeyo educates students and develops programs to strengthen African communities

Kampala, Uganda, June 11, 2014, Makerere University School of Health Sciences Dean, Associate Professor Occupational Medicine William Bazeyo, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

Dr. Bazeyo has 21 years of experience in health care and education, and has worked as the Dean of Makerere University School of Health Sciences since 2013.

An expert in specialized medicine, he attributes his success to being open to working with and partnering with other professionals in his field. He is always advancing his studies, research, and leadership skills. He became involved in his profession after realizing the need for specialized medicine while working as a general practitioner.

Dr. Bazeyo received a Master of Medicine in Occupational Medicine at the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Makerere University School of Health Sciences. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the Resilient Africa Network as the chief of party and earned a $25 million grant, CTCA, and One Health Central and Eastern Africa. In five years, Mr. Bazeyo aims to become a full professor and increase his research portfolio.
